Concrete calculator for slab volume
Size rectangular slab pour volume from length, width, and thickness — then optionally add a waste factor for ordering.
- 10 ft × 12 ft × 4 in = 40 cu ft ≈ 1.481 cu yd ≈ 1.133 m³
- With 10% waste → order 44 cu ft (theoretical is not ceil-rounded)
- 1 cu yd = 27 cu ft; 1 cu ft = 0.028316846592 m³
For estimating and planning. Does not determine structural thickness, reinforcement, strength, or code compliance. Does not invent ready-mix minimums or bag yields.
Method: convert L/W/thickness to feet, volume = L×W×T. Show cuft, cuyd (÷27), and m³ (×0.028316846592). Order volume = theoretical × (1+waste%). Example: 10 ft × 12 ft × 4 in = 40 cuft ≈ 1.481 cuyd ≈ 1.133 m³; +10% waste → 44 cuft order. Not a structural design tool.
